Chocolate Fondant Recipe

AKA Chocolate cake with gooey center!

So you've decided to cook for your date.....that's alot of pressure. 

Simply put, we don't think it wouldn't be Valentines without Chocolate, so we're sharing our easy to make, but and very impressive looking Chocolate Fondant recipe with you so you can be sure to impress - even if you do burn the main course!


Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of dark chocolate
  • 120 grams of butter
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ a cup of sugar
  • 2 table spoons of flour
  • 6 table spoons of Nutella
Instructions:

Start with the all important preheating of the oven, it needs to be 180°C or 375°F. 

Coat the inside of six ramekins with butter and cut a wax paper circle to fit in the bottom of each - drawing around them using the ramekins first helps, especially if they're heart shaped for the occasion!

Melt butter and chocolate together in a glass bowl or a pan over boiling water - make sure the bottom of the glass doesn't touch the water at any point.

 













Whisk eggs and sugar in a separate bowl then add your melted chocolate and flour - give it a good stir before pour into ramekins. 

Finally add a teaspoon of Nutella to the center of each and bake for 10 minutes exactly! 















 Voila! Here it is! Your ooey -gooey Chocolate Fondant.
