One for the Girls – The Right Way to Tease…

Teasing shouldn’t be about playing a game – it’s about being playful! What is it that gets a guy to ask you out on a date, keeps you on his mind, and makes him keep moving the relationship in the right direction? Attraction! and not just the physical kind...

So how do you create curiosity, intrigue, and interest?
In the first stages of dating, you can create all these things with fun and humour. Knowing how to have fun and a giggle is an attractive quality. Being too serious all the time, could lead to one fed-up date,  and you'll be spending all your time with two different men...Ben and Jerry!
Here are our top tips to help you create the intrigue...

The unexpected
Be a spontaneous romantic by surprising him with a picnic, a bottle of bubbly or his favourite film for a cosy night in.
Don’t give too much away
No one wants to be one of those people who just talks incessantly about themselves! Remember they don’t need to know your life story by the end of the date, your dreams, your aspirations, your pet hates and your pets’ pet hates!!!

Most of all have fun!
Take away the pressure by keeping things flirty! Keep things cool with a water balloon fight, casually race by him on your bike, pretend to give him a push when he’s changing his shoes or build a fort – perfect should you have any toy water guns hanging around!

What happens next… Don’t give it up. Once we feel secure in our relationship, it's easy to take each other for granted and forget to do the romantic things we did in the start. As well as all those feelings of security, a healthy relationship brings laughter, fun and excitement to your life. So keep doing spontaneous things, keep buying 'no-occasion' flowers and making surprise romantic dinners.
Take our advice and seize every opportunity to sweeten up even the most seemingly sour times together…
Transform dinner into dining
That midweek meal you sling in the oven or get from your local takeaway - make it register on the mush-o-meter by using the ‘nice’ crockery and lighting some candles. Add a table cloth and some music for added romance even if you're just having a pizza.

An afternoon surprise
If you know he’s facing a rubbish day in the office, send a chocolate bar in the post the night before, pack him a special lunch or call up the local sandwich shop that delivers. And of course...let him know dessert's waiting for him at home!

Hold his things hostage
Steal the paper, or the remote before he has chance to check out the scores! Then write a ransom note and insist that your demands for kisses and cuddling must be met before you'll give them up!

In a perfect world, each moment would be like THAT scene from Dirty Dancing, but when it's not - we need to make a bit of effort to spice things up!
