According to a recent study the way you choose to sit on your sofa says a lot more about you that you think - from how likely you are to be successful at work, to how happy you are with your sex life!
The recent study by Worldstores has revealed how you can predict how satisfied someone is with a number of lifestyle factors including their sex life, where they live, their career and even how much they are likely to earn – simply by looking at how they sit and relax on their sofa.
Along with leading body language experts, the study looked at common lifestyle and personality traits of 2,000 people against their favourite sofa sitting positions.
Understanding your sofa psychology…
Most likely to be successful: Legs tucked up, feet on the cushion, leaning into the arm and the back of the sofa AKA ‘The Tucking Leaner’
Most likely to earn the most: Widespread legs and arms extended to their fullest across the sofa back. An over exaggerated and confident position AKA ‘The Loud And Proud’
Most likely to have the most sex: Crossed legs and hands resting in the lap - well rounded and symmetrical, reflecting an overall contentment and inner confidence AKA ‘The Sofa Buddha’
Most likely to dislike your job: Fully stretched out, almost horizontal; similar to being asleep and fully committed to relaxing as much as possible. AKA ‘The Rose’ after being very similar to Rose during the intimate scene from Titanic.
