Spring has officially sprung! It’s time to get out of those onesies, throw those snow boots to the back of the cupboard and get outside to enjoy the sunshine. So now that the sun has come out to play, how can you shake up your dates??
Visit a Botanical Garden
Where better to cultivate a blossoming relationship than a space that is dedicated to the cultivation of beautiful things? Ah, cute. But seriously, if it’s a first date especially, botanical gardens are a lovely date venue. You can wander around the gardens taking in the pretty scenery, and if the conversation ever lulls you can just point at a plant or tree and try and pronounce the name.
During Spring and Summer, botanical gardens tend to hold open-air theatrical productions and musical performances – so check the website of one nearest you for What’s On. Pack a hamper, a bottle of wine, some nibbles and sit beneath the setting sun!
Hire a Boat
Nothing says ‘we’re on a date’ more than a rowing boat for 2. We’d thoroughly recommend rowing on the Serpentine in Hyde Park if it’s not too far out of your way. They've got Pedalos too, so you can test out your team work.

Safari Park
Like a zoo, but better. You won’t get lost trying to find
the monkeys because there’s a nice clear road for you to follow, and you won’t
have to compete with the youngsters to see the bears because they’re circling
your car. There's loads all around the country, including Woburn Safari Park, Longleat in Wiltshire, West Midlands Safari Park, Knowsley and more...
Day Trip to the Beach
It’s never too early in the year to go the beach. Great
Britain has got some brilliant date worthy beaches featuring the latest in
arcade games, the finest dunkin’ donuts, and the most thrilling fun-fair rides.
It would be a tall feat to not have a good time, no matter how
unappealing your actual date might be. We'd recommend Brighton beach - once you've got bored of paddling in the sea, the promenade is packed full of cool bars and restuarants.
