UK Party Leaders and their Ultimate Celebrity Partners…

Guest Blogger: Sam Grainger

Now that the dust around the General Election has settled (sort of…) we can all sit back, relax and enjoy a good old-fashioned, British mickey taking. In light of the recent results, we’ve been thinking which celebrities would be the knick to our UK Party Leader’s knack…

David Cameron & Kim Kardashian

The most influential man in Britain deserves an equally influential woman by his side – who better than the curvaceous and infamous Kim K? Dave should take notes; Kim has successfully conquered the celebrity world armed with only her figure. Maybe if Cameron ‘broke the internet’ with a series of nude pictures the UK population might be distracted from his questionable policies…

Ed Miliband & Russell Brand

N’aaawww, aren’t these two just perfect for each other? They’ve already enjoyed an intimate and passionate first date over at Russell’s house, and it’s clear that the shaggy-haired Casanova needs a wholesome and stable relationship after his break-up with Katy Perry. Ed is the perfect fit – he’s the sort of bloke you’d take home to meet your parents.

Nigel Farage & Katie Hopkins

This pairing doesn’t need much explaining to be honest. We could only imagine what this would be like if it was real… And that doesn’t bare thinking about! You wouldn’t want to invite them over for a light-hearted dinner party, that’s for sure.

Nicola Sturgen & Danny Dyer

The ‘Queen of Scotland’ and an English national treasure – the perfect coupling to bring the best of England and Scotland together in holy matrimony at last! We can see it now… Say goodbye to ‘The Queen Vic’, and say hello to ‘The Queen Nic’!

Nick Clegg & Emma Watson

The only possible way Nick Clegg could clear his ruined reputation would be to remain silent whilst the lovely Emma Watson did the talking for him. The Harry Potter actress has won the hearts of the nation in recent years, and if she told us Mr. Clegg was really a nice guy and didn’t mean to do a U-turn on scrapping tuition fees, we’d probably believe her. But we’d still have to sleep on it…

It seems like politics is all everyone has been taking about these last few weeks. Thankfully, there are plenty of other talking points to break the ice with on a first date! Find the Downing to your Street at Flirtify…
